A Gold Pass is a paid service that allows you to receive several in-game benefits for a set monthly fee. For more information about these benefits, see the Gold Pass subscription screen.

You can purchase a Gold Pass subscription in the following locations:
・The Shop
・The banner at the top of the Menu

You can try out the Gold Pass for free for two weeks.
Two-week free trials are limited to one per account.

Notes:
・When your two-week free trial ends, you will automatically be charged for a continued Gold Pass subscription.
・If you do not wish to continue your subscription you must cancel automatic renewal 24 or more hours before the free trial period ends. Then, you will not be charged at the end of the free trial period.

The Gold Pass is valid for one month from the day you subscribe or from when the automatic renewal takes place.
Benefits from a Gold Pass (200cc, ability to receive additional tour gifts, etc.) that are outside the one-month validity period will remain valid until the daily reset (6:00 AM UTC, or 11:00 PM PDT/10:00 PM PST) following expiration.

You can start to use the Gold Pass once you have subscribed.

You can check when the validity period ends on the subscription status screen of your device's operating system.

Automatic renewal allows you to keep enjoying the Gold Pass service by automatically renewing your subscription each month when the one-month validity period ends. This allows you to keep using the same Gold Pass.

If you do not wish to continue your subscription, you must cancel automatic renewal 24 or more hours before the free trial period ends. Then, you will not be charged at the end of the free trial period.

1. Tap the Play Store icon on your device
2. Tap your Google Account in the Play Store
3. Tap Payments and Subscriptions
4. Tap Subscriptions
5. Check the subscription status by tapping Mario Kart Tour

【iOS】
You can check your subscription status following these steps:

1. Tap Settings on your device.
2. Scroll down and tap iTunes & App Store.
3. Tap your Apple ID.
4. Tap View Apple ID > Subscriptions.
5. Tap the Mario Kart Tour icon to check your subscription status.

【Android】
You can cancel automatic renewal by following the steps below:

1. Tap the Play Store icon on your device
2. Tap your Google Account in the Play Store
3. Tap Payments and Subscriptions
4. Tap Subscriptions
5. Tap Mario Kart Tour on the Subscriptions screen
6. On the Manage Subscriptions screen, tap Cancel Subscription to cancel

■If your new device uses the same OS as your previous device
The procedure below allows you to transfer your Gold Pass benefits (subscription status) to a new device without incurring an additional fee.
1. Start Mario Kart Tour using the Google Account that you used to subscribe to the Gold Pass on your previous device.
2. Link the Nintendo Account that you used to subscribe to the Gold Pass on your previous device.
3. Tap Complete Purchase on the Gold Pass subscription screen.

■If your new device uses a different OS from your previous device (this has been updated with the introduction of the continuous subscription rewards)
It is possible to transfer your Gold Pass benefits.
You can transfer your items if you use the Nintendo Account you used on your previous device.
You cannot newly subscribe to the Gold Pass if your Gold Pass is still valid on a different OS. If you are purchasing a new Gold Pass, please purchase it once the validity period of the Gold Pass on your previous device has ended.

Note: After you cancel, you will still be eligible for continuous subscription rewards if you resubscribe to the Gold Pass within seven days after the end of your previous validity period.

【iOS】

1. Using the Google Account you currently use for your Gold Pass, cancel your Gold Pass.
2. Once your Gold Pass has expired, purchase a Gold Pass with the Google Account you want to change to.

To change the Apple ID you use for purchasing your Gold Pass, please follow these steps:

1. Using the Apple ID you currently use for your Gold Pass, cancel your Gold Pass.
2. Once your Gold Pass has expired, purchase a Gold Pass with the Apple ID you want to change to.

【Android】
If you erase your save data by using the Start Fresh option, you can still use your Gold Pass benefits (200cc, ability to receive additional tour gifts, etc.). From the Google Account you used to purchase your Gold Pass, go to the Gold Pass purchase screen and tap Complete Purchase and you can continue using your Gold Pass benefits without any extra charge.

Note: If you use the Start Fresh option, your tour gifts, challenge progress, and items received will all be deleted.

【iOS】
