A Gold Pass is a paid subscription which allows you to receive several benefits for a set monthly fee. For more information about the benefits, see the Gold Pass subscription screen.

You can subscribe from the following locations.
・The Shop
・The banner in the upper part of the menu

You can try out the Gold Pass for two weeks free of charge.

Two-week free trials are limited to one per account.

Notes:
・Once the two-week free trial ends, a paid subscription will begin automatically unless it is cancelled.
・If you do not wish to continue your subscription you must cancel automatic renewal 24 or more hours before the free trial period ends. Then you will not be charged at the end of the free trial period.

【Android】
When your free trial ends, a paid subscription for a Gold Pass will begin automatically and you will be charged.

If you do not wish to continue your subscription:
You will not be charged if you cancel automatic subscription 24 or more hours before the free trial period ends.

【iOS】
When your free trial ends, a paid subscription for a Gold Pass will begin automatically and you will be charged unless you cancel automatic renewal 24 or more hours before the free trial period ends.

If you do not wish to continue your subscription:
You will not be charged if you cancel automatic subscription during the free trial period.

The Gold Pass is valid for one month from the day you subscribe or the day the automatic renewal takes place.

Benefits from a Gold Pass (200cc, ability to receive additional tour gifts, etc.) that are outside the one-month validity period will remain valid until the daily reset (06:00 AM UTC) following expiration of the pass.

■When you can start using the Gold Pass
You can start to use the Gold Pass once the subscription process is complete.

■When the validity period ends
You can check this on the licence status screen of your device's operating system.

This is a system that allows you to continue enjoying the Gold Pass service by automatically renewing your subscription each month - you can keep using the same Gold Pass and you don't have to manually subscribe again each month when the validity period ends.

Note: You can cancel automatic renewal by tapping the cancel subscription option.

【Android】
You must check your subscription status and period of validity from the Google Play Store (you cannot check them in-game).

The steps for cancelling automatic renewal of your Gold Pass subscription are given below. If your subscription period expires and you have cancelled automatic renewal, then you will no longer be able to use the Gold Pass service.

Note: If you cancel before the subscription period ends you will not be refunded for the remainder.
After cancelling automatic renewal, you can keep using the Gold Pass until the period of validity ends.
Automatic renewal will be cancelled if the renewal fee cannot be paid (credit card is out of date, insufficient funds, etc.)

How to Cancel

② Tap your Google Account in the Play Store
③ Tap Payments and Subscriptions
④ Tap Subscriptions
⑤ Tap Mario Kart Tour on the Subscriptions screen
⑥ On the Manage Subscriptions screen, tap Cancel Subscription to cancel

Install Mario Kart Tour and use the Nintendo Account linked to the Google Account you used on your previous device.
Then, go to the Gold Pass purchase screen and tap "Complete Purchase".
Doing this will allow you to bring over your Gold Pass and Gold Pass benefits without any additional cost.
Caution: If you use a Nintendo Account or Google Account that is different from what you used on your previous device, you will not be able to transfer your Gold Pass.

■If your new device uses a different operating system from your previous device (this has been updated with the introduction of the continuation rewards)
It is possible to transfer your Gold Pass benefits.
You can transfer your items if you use the Nintendo Account you used on your previous device.
You cannot newly subscribe to the Gold Pass if your Gold Pass is still valid on a different operating system. If you are purchasing a new Gold Pass, please purchase it once the validity period of the Gold Pass on your previous device has ended.

Note: After you cancel, you will still be viable for continuation if you resubscribe to the Gold Pass within seven days after the end of your previous validity period.

【iOS】

If you purchase a duplicate Gold Pass on a different operating system, we cannot accept requests to revert the purchase, or extend the validity period. Before you purchase a new Gold Pass, please make sure to cancel your old one on the platform you wish to cancel on.

To change the Google Account you use to purchase your Gold Pass, please follow the steps below.

・Cancel using the Google Account your Gold Pass is currently linked to.

・Once your Gold Pass has expired, purchase another one with the Google Account you want to change to.

To change the Apple ID you use to purchase your Gold Pass, please follow the steps below.

・Cancel using the Apple ID your Gold Pass is currently linked to.

・Once your Gold Pass has expired, purchase another one with the Apple ID you want to change to.

【Android】
After erasing your save data by using the Start Fresh option, go to the Gold Pass purchase screen on your Google Account and tap "Complete Purchase". You can continue using your Gold Pass benefits without any extra charge.

Note: If you use the Start Fresh option your benefits and items received will all be deleted, so be careful when using this feature.

【iOS】

Once your Gold Pass expires you will no longer be able to use your benefits. However, you will be able to use the items you got while your Gold Pass was active.

Your Gold Pass may expire if it couldn't be automatically renewed for some reason, such as your credit card expiring or your account balance being too low.
